When I was eleven years old, my family went on a vacation to seventeen national parks and I started to take photographs of everything. This inspired me to have an interest in photography. Ever since then, I got myself a camera that I took photographs when my family and I traveled.
In high school I took a digital arts and design class that taught me the fundamentals of photography. In that class, I got introduced to studio lighting and editing for the very first time that sparked my interest in photography even more. By my senior year of high school, I became the head photographer for the JROTC program where I was responsible for collecting and taking photos of what was happening in the program.
I am a student at Western Kentucky University studying visual journalism and photography. I work on WKU’s Student Publications as a Photographer for the Talisman and Cherry Creative, where I take photos for the weekly photo gallery, assignments, and more.
Some hobbies I enjoy are traveling, reading, hiking, and spending time with friends.
