Kenan Mujkanovič pours Bosnian coffee into a Bosnian cup at his home on Wednesday, March 5. The Bosnian culture thrives on drinking and making coffee, and Mujkanovič said that some Bosnians will drink it four or five times a day.
Kenan Mujkanovič tries to keep Bosnian traditions alive as he lives a disciplined life in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Mujkanovič's parents came to Bowling Green from Bosnia in 1994 with only some clothes and some mementos. Mujkanovič keeps the Bosnian tradition alive by making the traditional Bosnian coffee and through his faith, Islam. He lives a life of discipline, working out each day, walking his dog each day, and runs a law firm business.

The Mujkanovič family gathers to talk and spend time together over Bosnian coffee every night. Kenan Mujkanovič, the eldest child in the family, comes to visit his family once or twice a week.

Kenan Mujkanovič walks his dog, Della, on Monday, March 3. Mujkanovič takes Della on a walk four times a day. Della is a trained dog that knows commands to sit or lie. Della is hyper-aware of her surroundings and often goes after birds and squirrels.
